Charitable Contributions

Utahns may contribute to approved charitable causes on their individual income tax returns.

In 2007, over 24,000 donations were made totaling in excess of $299,000 to aid wildlife, homeless Utahns, ill children, schools and other special funds. You do not need to receive a refund in order to contribute to these funds. Contributions to these funds will increase your balance due or reduce your refund.
