Revised January 1, 2008

Refund Direct Deposit

You can use Direct Deposit to have your refund electronically transmitted into your bank or credit union account. This method is safer and much faster than receiving a check issued by the State of Utah. Your refund will go directly to the savings or checking account you designate, regardless of whether you file electronically or send in a paper income tax return.

To direct deposit your refund, fill in your bank or credit union routing and account numbers on line 34 of your 2007 TC-40 Utah Individual Income Tax return (see graphic below). Be sure to designate whether you want the refund deposited to your checking or savings account.
