You can use Direct Deposit to have your refund electronically transmitted into your bank or credit union account. This method is safer and much faster than receiving a check issued by the State of Utah. Your refund will go directly to the savings or checking account you designate, regardless of whether you file electronically or send in a paper income tax return.
To direct deposit your refund, fill in your bank or credit union routing and account numbers on line 34 of your 2007 TC-40 Utah Individual Income Tax return (see graphic below). Be sure to designate whether you want the refund deposited to your checking or savings account.
