If your Utah income tax liability is $2 or more ($4 if married filing jointly), you may contribute $2 to the campaign fund for the qualified party of your choice. If this is a joint return, your spouse may also designate $2 to the qualified party of his or her choice. This will not reduce your refund nor increase the tax amount you owe.
The qualified political parties are listed on the TC-40, Utah Individual Income Tax Return.
